I found this board a couple of weeks ago when I did a search for American Girl Dolls. I visited a site that had a link. It was great to find this because I did join another message board for AG on yahoo in 2000 that was too quiet. I enjoy the chatter of this message board.
Funny thing is that I found out a good friend of mine is a member here already. She flew over for a visit last weekend and brought along her Molly for a visit. We had a great time and convinced another of our friends to order an AG. She has wanted to for yrs and finally is going to get Samantha. She'll probably join this board as soon as I send her the link.

I also wanted to say thank you, Ann, for starting the board, and for all your hard work with SOAGC, too! I just can't help but think you are at least slightly responsible for how AG has turned back to its core lines as its focus. I bet you are having lots of fun with your newest "American doll!"
Also, thanks to the moderators who run the board now.

I found this board after I had seen commercials for Felicity's movie in Nov. I was looking up ag sites on google and found this board. Well, I joined instantly!

Do you know how I found this board?? Does anyone remember the HUGE lot of AG dolls and clothes that a woman was selling on eBay because of some kind of medical or financial hardship about 6 months ago or so? Someone emailed the seller and told her that people were talking bad about her on this board, and she posted the message and a link here in her auction!!! Curiosity got the best of me and I followed the link. It was a kind of cruddy way to find this place, but I'm SO SO SO glad I did!! I lurked for a while, and when I became obsessed with #21, I made my first post rather reluctantly about whether I had lost my mind to be 29 and interested in dolls. You all welcomed me with open arms, and made me feel okay about it. Now I'm an AG nut, and I don't care who knows!!
